Last blog of 2009.

It's finally ending, the crap that is/was 2009 is about to come to an end and with it comes not only a brand new year but a brand new decade.

Those of you who know me probably know how bad 2009 has been for me. Lot of things have came and gone, others have been lost but also not forgotten.

What i'm hoping 2010 brings for me is one, some sort of happiness in some shape or form, two. An idea of what i should do with myself now that i'm officially bored of free time and three, pretty much just a brand new me. Tired of sitting back and letting everything pass. Money worries have to go in some sort of way. I need to venture out on that road trip i've always had planned in my head and i need to visit a certain part of the world that i've always wanted to visit. If i can actually make it across to australia that will top the year off right away. It would take something real harsh and drastic to pull me back down to earth.

To end 2009 on a high was never going to be likely, we're hours away and there's still no sign of it. I've been invited to the casino though to finish the year off. Definitely different and something i've never did before. Calvin and co will be present so it should be a great laugh, if not an expensive one :D

I'll see you all in some way in the new year. All the best for tonight and next year as a whole. GOODBYE "naughties" helloooo "deccies" :)

Incomplete TV boxsets...

It's a random as hell thing to be speaking about but last night when i just happened to watch a couple of adverts, one popped up about these boxsets on sale. Seasons 1-7 of Scrubs and Seasons 1-5 of LOST.

What is the point in selling these in boxsets when they can easily just wait and put all the planned series into one big boxset?

Scrubs is actually on it's 9th season although it's losing the majority of its early cast, including the legend that is JD (Zach Braff). I just don't see why they can't just wait till it ends and put them altogether, though being honest they probably will and people who bought this will be screwed.

It's even worse for LOST. It's been confirmed that the show will definitely be finishing after its last and final season this coming january. Season 6 will be full of all the answers apparently. I've actually been LOST without it the past few months. It's great television!

Why they decided to release 1-5 then instead of 1-6 is actually shocking. I actually own 1-4 on dvd and was planning on buying 5 but i'm still unsure. Either way they should stop trying to cash in on things like this. I'm not the biggest fan of things like that.

Batman - Arkham Asylum 2 Announced!!!

This has not long been announced, but i've just got around to discovering it. The sequel for one of "the" biggest games of 2009 and my very own personal favourite of 2009 has finally been announced.

Very little is known right now but judging from the website and trailer

HERE

They suggest that the joker, albeit a bit scarred, is back and the url suggests "Arkham has moved". Sounds VERY interesting to me. Definite must by for me without a shadow of a doubt. Possibly roaming around Gotham itself?

Road Trip - Beer Pong!

Why hadn't i heard of this?

I've just sat and watched it over my xbox, decided to rent it off of live in full 1080p HD quality. Lovely Jubbly!

Now as i said, i've just watched it. I had no idea it had been made, let alone that it'd been released on dvd and co. I'm a massive fan of the first film. Actually lost count at the amount of times i've watched it. The cast was excellent.

Finished True Blood Season 1

Meet Bill Compton. You're friendly, neighbourhood...vampire :)

Just finished up with the first season of true blood on dvd. Before i get into the deep of things i'll explain just how addictive it was.

When it first arrived on tuesday, i ended up watching, having already seen the first two, episodes 3-5. Even after those first few episodes i knew i'd be finished watching it in no time. Fast forward to today and i've just sat and watched episodes 6-12. Crazy stuff when i think about it. I just couldn't switch them off though. The story, action and of course acting were all spot on.

Bit gutted it only had 12 episodes but strangely enough it made sense in a way. Was definitely worth a buy, let alone a buy for £17.95... BARGAIN!!!

Currently downloading the first couple of episodes from season 2 at the minute. Sadly their not out on dvd just yet :(

Polls

Seeing as how it's coming to the end of 2009, i've added two polls on the right hand side of the page there. One of them is for "Your Film of 2009?" and the other "Your Game of 2009?"

It's been a massive year for both games and film so if you're bored and stumble upon this page. Vote away. The voting ends early 2010 so there's plenty of time to see the likes of Avatar and give it a vote. I've also added the option of "other" to both so if your game or film isn't in the list then feel free to leave a comment.

On a side note, it's been a month since i started out with this blog, i wasn't sure if it would last a month but i've been unable to stop myself. With that i've changed the look of the site, adding in a third column. Here's to another month of posts.
